By far the most common sleeve finish, and the go to for some of the biggest record labels for generations. At the end of the day, you can't go wrong with a gloss machine varnish.

A great cost effective way of getting an amazing feeling record sleeve. We can't promote this finish enough.

Print to the reverse, the uncoated side of the card. With a lack of finish, the paper will absorb the ink to a higher degree, enriching ink colours and have that beloved organic paper feel.
This is ideal for those that want to go for a more natural, rustic feel or get a vintage look to their sleeves.
Please note this might not be suitable for designs with large areas of block dark colours.

Our super high gloss finish. Gloss lamination makes colours super vibrant. The easiest comparison to gloss lamination is think classic photo paper.
You get that shine and it really brings out the colours in a design. A thin polypropylene film is heat-fused to the printed surface forming a layer of protective coating while also improving its sturdiness and water resistance. Gloss lamination is more reflective than a gloss varnish, making it particularly perfect for bringing out the vibrancy of colours.
Recycled Eco Gloss Lamination is also available.

Gloss ultraviolet-cured coatings are applied over the printed surface and dried by exposure to UV light.
Gloss UV Varnish is extremely reflective and glossy, deepening and enriching the ink colours.

Make your record stand the test of time with this extremely durable finish.
Especially useful and highly recommended for applying a matt finish to darker coloured sleeves where scuffs and scratches would otherwise tend to show.

Sometimes a varnish isn’t applied to the entire surface but only used to make certain elements standout. This is called a spot gloss varnish.
A great way to make certain features of your artwork stand out and look striking.
Get a silver, gold or rainbow effect on your outer sleeve with metallic lamination.
One of the coolest finishes out there in our humble opinion.
Hot foiling is foil that is applied to products using a metal die, high heat and pressure.
Objects should have a minimum width of 0.3mm and a minimum gap of at least 0.5mm between objects to avoid ‘fusing’ or filling in (for example, the holes in ‘a’ ‘e’ ‘d’ etc). Large, solid areas of foiling can sometimes result in a patchy finish.
Embossing and Debossing is the process of pressing your sleeve using a metal die with high pressure, to create areas raised above the surface (embossed) and depressed into the surface (debossed).

Add Glow in the Dark spot inks to your sleeve to enhance features for low light, perfect for parties and clubs.
When the lights go out, your sleeve can be the beacon amongst the darkness, glowing with ultra violet light when all other sleeves shrouded in dark. Come on, how doesn't love things that glow in the dark!
